nstallation Procedure for Public Toilet Partitions

First step: Understanding of the overall installation effect and general layout of accessories for toilet partitions

Step 2: Marking out

As shown in the figure above, mark the mounting lines for angle brackets and floor supports according to the planned layout of toilets in the project and actual conditions of accessories.

Step 3: Assemble the center posts with middle partitions and side posts with exposed panels using angle brackets, then install floor supports at designated positions.

Note: When assembling center posts and middle partitions, offset the two angle brackets at the same position by 5 mm vertically to prevent their screws from interfering with each other.

For floor support installation: First place the supports on the floor; their distance from the edge of the post panels shall be determined by the panel width ratio. Then fix the floor supports onto the post panels directly. Generally, one floor support is used for each side post panel, and two for each center post panel.

Step 4: Install angle brackets on wall panels and floor supports on the floor.

For floor supports: Drill holes on the floor with a hammer drill, insert expansion plugs, then secure the supports to the floor using 4×30 screws.

Step 5: Place the pre-assembled middle partitions with center posts, as well as exposed panels with side post panels into position.

Note: Place a spacer against the wall side of the middle partition to push it tight to the wall. Adjust the angle to ensure both front and side surfaces of the partition are plumb, then fasten the angle brackets and remove the spacer.

Secure the exposed panels and side posts in the same way. Check that all side panels and middle partitions are aligned and lie on the same plane.

Step 6: Install cross braces

Fasten the cross braces onto post panels and exposed panels. Drill holes on the cross braces with an electric drill and secure them tightly with M4×16 stainless steel self-tapping screws.

Check the clearances at the top and bottom of the door; the deviation shall be within 0.5 mm. Ensure center posts and side posts are aligned on the same plane and kept plumb.

Step 7: Install hinges in the positions specified on the drawings.

Note: When installing door hinges, set them 150 mm from the top and bottom edges respectively.

Step 8: Mount the pre-assembled door onto the partition, then install the door lock and handle at the designated positions.

Note: After fitting the hinges, check the door gap, which shall be between 2 mm and 3.5 mm. The tolerance for single-side gap width is 0.5 mm, and all adjacent gaps must be uniform before tightening the hinges. When installing the latch, adjust the clearance between the latch and lock first, then fix the latch securely.

Step 9: Install coat hooks and other accessories, then inspect and clean up.

Note: After installing coat hooks and other accessories, inspect the entire partition for defects such as scratches and cracks. Touch up damaged areas with matching paint or touch-up pens. Once repairs are done, clean all surfaces and the floor, then hand over for customer acceptance.
